I grew up just outside of Norfolk, Nebraska, on the same land where I teach today. Horses weren't something I discovered, they were just always there. My parents rode, and I was on a horse at a week old. Growing up, riding wasn't a hobby, it was home. And from the beginning, the thing I loved almost as much as riding was sharing it.
When I was about 14, a family friend asked if I could teach her daughter. I said yes, not knowing that one yes would quietly change everything. I kept teaching, one family friend at a time, until what started as a favor grew into something real. Today I work with over 30 students, and I still teach on the same land I learned to ride on.
My first formal lesson happened at fourteen, born from a simple question at a local ball game: "Would you teach my daughter to ride?" Within months, word traveled, and a handful of family friends were meeting me at the hitching rail. What started as a hobby I loved quickly revealed a deeper calling, and I began sketching out plans to turn my passion into a pathway for others.
In 2023, the vision shifted from a pastime to a purposeful business as I opened my gates to the wider community. Today, with over 30 students, a full schedule of summer camps, and regular trail rides, the dream I had at eleven is taking root. This is more than just a business; it’s the beginning of a dedicated space where families can finally pull up a chair, find their footing, and experience restoration through the horse.

We'd love to show you around the stables and introduce you to our wonderful horses. Schedule a time that works for your family.
